Road Closure

Starting on Tuesday, March 24, East Martindale Road in the City of Union will be closed to traffic during the hours of 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. The road closure involves the portion of East Martindale Road from State Route 48 east to River Road. The City will allow the roadway to be open after 6 pm in the evening, when possible, during the project. This project involves replacement of a water line and is being funded with an Issue II grant/loan from the Ohio Public Works Commission. The City anticipates the project will take approximately 5-6 weeks to construct depending on the weather. Paving crews will resurface the roadway later in the summer once the trench work has time to settle. The City of Union appreciates your patience during the construction period.
