PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

PROPOSED RESIDENTIAL TIF DISTRICT

Public Hearing Notice – Proposed Residential TIF District

The City of Union will hold a Public Hearing during its next City Council meeting on February 10, 2025, at 7:30 PM.

The purpose of this hearing is to discuss a proposed Non-School Residential Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Incentive District. This Residential TIF District is being considered to help finance portions of public infrastructure improvements for Parliament Place, a planned 53-lot residential subdivision to be developed northeast of the intersection of Phillipsburg-Union Road and Old Mill Road.

This proposed Non-School TIF will ensure that the schools receive 100% of the tax revenue they would have collected if a Residential TIF had not been enacted.

This public hearing is for discussion purposes only; no action will be taken at this meeting. The City Council is expected to consider legislation on the proposed Residential TIF District at its March 10, 2025, meeting.
