Commercial Building Department

Beginning August 15, 2025, the City of Union officially became a Commercial Building Department. All commercial building plan reviews and inspections are conducted by our certified agency partner, National Inspection Corporation (NIC). 

Permit Applicaiton Process:

For submission of a commercial building permit application, please download the application below and send to the City of Union at - [email protected], or drop off in person at our main office location. You can also contact our office by phone at 937-836-8624.

NIC provides professional, timely, and thorough building services to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards. They serve as the City’s designated authority for all commercial building plan reviews, building permits, and inspection requests.
