Medic 81

Medic 81 is a 2022 Ford Horton ambulance. This ambulance unit offers the latest technology to ensure safety and efficiency. 

Engine 81

Engine 81 is a 2009 Sutphen Rescue Engine. Engine 81 has a 750 gallon water tank, 1,750 gpm pump and is loaded with rescue equipment for auto extrication, rope rescue and vehicle stabilization. 

Engine 82

Engine 82 is a 1989 Pierce Engine-Tanker. This Engine is considered our "tanker" to respond to certain remote areas that are not covered by hydrants. It features a 1,000 gallon tank, 1,500gpm pump and a dump-tank for rural water operations. This engine was originally a Randolph Township engine that was kept in Union at the split of the Township fire department. 

Car 81

Car 81 is a 2008 Chevrolet Suburban that is used as a first responder vehicle. This vehicle is also used by the on-duty crew for various reasons on shift such as hydrant flushing and testing, business building inspections, CPR classes, and public education classes.  

ATV 81

ATV 81 is a Polaris ATV that has numerous uses. It serves a primary duty to get on-duty crews to remote areas of Union in some of our parks and large off-road areas. This ATV has been used on calls for wide-area lost person search and recovery, remote injury victim location and removal and other off-road tasks. This ATV has a small trailer that it tows allowing the capability of pulling a Stokes Basket with a patient from an off road location to an ambulance.
